Here is my second and final mini-review to wrap up the Pretty Little Liars series. For those of you who haven’t read the books don’t worry – no spoilers included!
One of my favorite things about this series is how the author accurately portrays real-life situations a lot of teenagers (and adults) have to deal with. Sure, the girls in these books are probably way better off than normal teens, but the things they have to deal with really resonated with me. We all have had arguments with our parents, experienced sibling rivalry, perhaps lived through our parents’ divorce – and all these topics are touched on in a realistic way in these books.
I have to say – I was not expecting the ending and all the twists and turns in Wanted. I knew that a lot would happen in order to wrap up the series, but not to the extent that it did. I think I read the last book the fastest just so I could figure out what happens, and I should probably re-read it at some point because I am sure I skimmed over some parts just because I was so anxious!
Even though there are mixed reviews out there about the series, I am really happy I read them and would suggest them to anyone looking for a fun, entertaining, dramatic, gossipy series
