In My Mailbox is a weekly meme created by Kristi at The Story Siren that gives readers the chance to share the books they bought/received/swapped/rented over the past week.

From the library:
The Body Finder by Kimberly Derting
Boy Meets Boy by David Levithan
Wicked Lovely by Melissa Marr
Linger by Maggie Stiefvater

I am SO proud of myself for not buying any books this week! But now all of the holds I had at the library came in all at once…giving me a mild panic attack to read them all in time! I think I’ll read Linger first because 1) I’m probably one of the last people in the world to read it and 2) my friend has also been waiting for forever for this to come in at the library, so I will just give her my copy when I’m done.

In other non-IMM news – I am super stoked to be going to the Andrea Cremer signing this week! This will be my first author signing and I get to meet Anna from Anna Reads in real life! *squee*

What did you get this week? Happy Reading!

  1. I also got Wicked Lovely since Jen spoke so highly of the series! I hope you and Anna have fun at the signing. Take pictures! :-)

  2. Wicked Lovely and Boy Meets Boy are both very good! Enjoy! :]

  3. I liked Linger a lot and I can’t wait to read the Body Finder!
    Enjoy :)

  4. Boy Meets Boy is a good read! I haven’t read Shiver either, but I didn’t like Linger at all. And I’ve checked out The Body Finder twice from the library and I still haven’t read it, lol.

  5. Congrats on not buying any books this week. It is so hard not to. Even before I started blogging, I’d buy at least one book a week, but it has gotten out of control! Enjoy your books this week – I’ve only read Boy Meets Boy. I love David Levithan!

  6. Great library finds! How are you going to decide which one to read first? I’ve read Wicked Lovely, and the other three are on my list! Have fun!

  7. I enjoyed Linger and hope you do too. Happy reading and have a great rest of the weekend!

  9. Great books, Tara! I’m interested to see what you think of Linger – I liked it a good bit better than I did Shiver, but then again, I didn’t really like Shiver haha :) Enjoy!

  10. Super fabulous books! So excited for your first author signing. I LOVE them! It’s one of my favorite parts of the book adventure. :)

  14. haha, fear not, I haven’t read Linger yet either! ;)

Can’t wait to talk Harry Potter with you after the movie!

  15. 1. YESSSSSSSS to Linger. I hope you love it like I did (and I REALLY did not care for werewolf books previously)!

    2. It is almost time for our epic adventure. DOUBLE YESSSS!

  16. YESSSSSS WICKED LOVELY! Oh, I so hope you like it. I always feel guilty if I recommend a book someone doesn’t like :( But no pressure, seriously ;)
Have fun meeting ANNA! I’m so envious of you guys. Someday!!!

  17. You’re gonna love Wicked Lovely and Linger!! I also feel pressured when my library holds come in all at once. I get kind of stressed feeling rushed to read them in time. :)
