Title: Stealing Heaven
Publisher: HarperTeen
Publication Date: June 1, 2008
Pages: 320
Source: Borrowed from Anna
From Goodreads:
My name is Danielle. I’m eighteen. I’ve been stealing things for as long as I can remember.
Dani has been trained as a thief by the best there is—her mother. They never stay in one place long enough for Dani to have real connections, real friends—a real life.
But in the town of Heaven, everything changes. Suddenly, Dani must question where her loyalties lie: with the life she’s always known—or the one she’s always wanted.
Stealing Heaven was my first Elizabeth Scott book, and it certainly will not be the last! I was instantly drawn to Dani and her story even though I couldn’t personally connect with her lifestyle (I don’t partake in the five-finger discount ;) ) I was captivated by her personality and her attraction to Greg, the one person that you would think is the absolute worst for her. The progression of their relationship sucks you in and leaves you rooting for both of them.
I have had the awesome pleasure to meet Elizabeth Scott twice (Teen Book Con and BEA) and she is just an absolute sweetheart. So energetic, hilarious, and just an all-around lovely lady :)  I can’t wait to read more of her books and have more good times with her characters.
If you have read Heist Society by Ally Carter and enjoyed it, I would definitely recommend Stealing Heaven. It is a super-fast and fun read and is a great way to introduce yourself to the amazingness that is Elizabeth Scott.
