From Goodreads:
Katarina Bishop has worn a lot of labels in her short life. But for the last two months she’s simply been known as the girl who ran the crew that robbed the greatest museum in the world. That’s why Kat isn’t surprised when she’s asked to steal the infamous Cleopatra Emerald so it can be returned to its rightful owners.
There are only three problems. First, the gem hasn’t been seen in public in thirty years. Second, no one who holds the emerald keeps it for long — and in Kat’s world, history almost always repeats itself. But it’s the third problem that makes Kat’s crew the most nervous, and that is . . . the emerald is cursed.
Kat might be in way over her head, but she’s not going down without a fight. After all, she has her best friend — the gorgeous Hale — and the rest of her crew with her as they chase the Cleopatra around the globe.

Uncommon Criminals is an ah-mazing sequel to Heist Society! I’m so glad that both books had been released when I decided to read them because I could not stand to wait otherwise.
The best word that I can use to describe this book – just plain FUN. It was such a fun and enjoyable book to read and I hated to see it end. You know those rare books that just make you genuinely happy? Uncommon Criminals definitely falls in that category for me.
And Hale… oh Hale, how I love thee. I can’t even describe how ecstatic I am that Heist Society is going to be made into a movie because I cannot wait to see these characters (especially Hale) come to life on the big screen.
I highly recommend both Heist Society and Uncommon Criminals as fun, light, extremely fast reads that will have you on the edge of your seat and leave you wanting more.
