As always, the lovely ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish deserve a shoutout for hosting Top Ten Tuesdsay!

This week’s topic is to list the top ten books you loved but never wrote a review for. I have a variety of reasons for not writing reviews for the books below, from reading them before I started blogging to just not being able to put my thoughts into words. Either way, the following books make no appearance on Fiction Folio (for now).

1) Books 3-7 in the Harry Potter series

2) City of Fallen Angels by Cassandra Clare

3) Wither by Lauren DeStafano

4) The Princess Diaries series by Meg Cabot

5) Abandon by Meg Cabot

6) Every book I’ve read by Philippa Gregory except The White Queen

7) Linger by Maggie Stiefvater

8) Anna and the French Kiss by Stephanie Perkins

9) The Sookie Stackhouse series by Charlaine Harris

10) The Lost Hero by Rick Riordan

  1. I was mentioning in my comment to Anna on her blog that there are just some books that don’t need to be reviewed. There are already so many out there. Sure it’s great to hear everyone’s thoughts but sometimes it’s just not possible.

  2. I didn’t join in this week, but I was thinking about it and THE PRINCESS DIARIES tops my list too. I absolutely adored the series and would probably give it a raving review, but I read them pre-blog!

  3. I still need to read Wither! as well as some other books ;-)

  4. Ohhhh you’ve got some great ones on that list Tara! I had a hard time writing my Anna review – I kept deleting everything I wrote because it didn’t seem to get across just how much I loved it. I’m still not happy with it, but it sorta summarizes my feelings about it:)

  5. I’ve heard really good things about all of those books! I’ve read some and have others on my TBR.

  6. Great list! I’ve got Harry Potter on mine too. Cause who hasn’t heard of those, right? I also didn’t review the Wolves of Mercy Falls books or COFA. I did review Wither, Anna, and The Lost Hero, though.

  7. Oh, I have a few of those on my TBR list. I’ll also have to give Philippa Gregory a try!

  8. I love most of the books on here, but The Lost Hero is super awesome. I feel like not enough people read Rick Riordan.
