This week’s Top Ten Tuesday topic is a FREEBIE!! That’s right, we get to do a Top Ten post about anything we want. I’m doing a twofer with this post – half TTT, half TBR reading list. I am super into anything with Egypt/mummies/pyramids, and there are actually quite a few YA books out there that dive into these topics.

So here you have it… my Top Ten YA Books About Egypt.

1) Cleopatra’s Moon by Vicky Alvear Shecter

2) Sphinx’s Princess by Esther M. Friesner

3) Sphinx’s Queen by Esther M. Friesner

4) Wrapped by Jennifer Bradbury

5) The Throne of Fire by Rick Riordan

6) Lights on the Nile by Donna Jo Napoli

8) The Egypt Game by Zilpha Keatley Snyder

  8. I had no idea there were so many YA books about Egypt. I just listened to about half of Stacey Shiff’s Cleopatra biography before I had to take it back to the library.

  9. I haven’t read any of these and I don’t think I’ve ever read a book in Egypt…you’ve read many of them! I should check them all out :)

  10. I would never have thought to write a top ten about Egypt, but you do claim it is your thing. Pretty cool. I couldn’t even manage to complete a top ten this week. So lame. Anyway I just wanted to stop by, say hi, I haven’t commented a lot recently (even though I’ve been reading yuor blog). It happens some times. :-)
