This irresistible, fast-paced novel has a totally hot new paperback cover! Its the song everyones singing. And its about her! But for Audrey, becoming famous overnight equals total, life-changing disaster…
I loved the premise of this book from the very beginning. You always wonder how those people out there feel who have songs written about them in a not-so-flattering light. How do you deal with all of that crap online with people bashing you? Or wanting your autograph on the street? Robin Benway gives her take on what would happen and it is HILARIOUS.
I am a big fan of female characters who have a little edge to them – a little snarky, a little sarcastic, and a little cynical. I identify with these girls and Audrey is no exception. She was so hilarious and I laughed out loud so many times I lost count.
I have another book by Robin Benway (The Extraordinary Secrets of April, May & June) and I definitely need to read it soon. Audrey, Wait was a fun, fast read that still makes me laugh when I think about it.
