This week’s topic is to list your top ten favorite childhood books. Even when I was young I had my nose in a book all the time and definitely had some faves. I remember (before my mom caught on) getting in trouble and being sent to my room where I would just sit and read a book – not punishment at all
As always, the lovely ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish deserve a shoutout for hosting Top Ten Tuesday!
Charlotte’s Web by E.B. White
The Baby-Sitters Club series by Ann M. Martin
The Hardy Boys series by Franklin W. Dixon
Goosebumps series by R.L. Stine
The Boxcar Children series by Gertrude Chandler Warner
The Baby-Sitters Club Little Sister series by Ann M. Martin
Mandie series by Lois Gladys Leppard
Matilda by Roald Dahl
The Little House on the Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder

It’s been great seeing what everyone loved as children. I didn’t read too much back in those days but did enjoy James and the Giant Peach, Charlotte’s Web and Shel Silverstein’s A Light in the Attic.
Love The Boxcar Children! I was really into mysteries as a kid. Can’t believe you read the Mandie books! I thought I was the only one. They probably helped jump start my historical fiction obsession.
Goosebumps!! Love it!!
GOOSEBUMPS! Seriously loved. And I actually read the BSC Little Sister books, too! That Karen, she was awfully annoying sometimes.
I loved The Boxcar Children and the Little House series!!
Come check out ours at The Blue Bookcase!
I loved all the Nancy Drew books.
Here’s my post.
we have some of the same books and series…although i’ve never heard of the Mandie books?!?!
