It’s been a while since I’ve done a TTT post, and I’m happy to be back with this week’s awesome topic. The official topic is to list the Top Ten Favorite Books You’ve Read During The Lifespan Of Your Blog. My little ol’ blog just celebrated its two-year anniversary, which is quite a long time span to choose only ten books from. And that’s why… I’m cheating yet again on the ten-book limit!

While I was compiling my list, I noticed I was choosing more authors than actual books. So my twist – I’m listing the top ten authors I’ve discovered and fallen in love with since starting my blog. It’s hard to believe I had never read anything by the below authors two years ago, but that’s just one of the many great things about book blogging!

As always, the lovely ladies over at The Broke and the Bookish deserve a shoutout for hosting Top Ten Tuesday!

  1. You are a smart girl for choosing the authors instead of the books, ha! I would definitely have Jennifer Echols & John Green on my list. If it weren’t for book bloggers, I would have never known their greatness.

  2. Dude John Green forever and always.

Please hurry up and read Will Grayson, Will Grayson because omg you have not lived until you’ve met Tiny Cooper!

  3. I will always and forever LOVE Maggie Stiefvater. I think the way she writes is amazing – she’s certainly an inspiration!

David Levithan, Sarah Dessen, John Green & Jennifer Echols – YES.

  4. I read The Scorpio Games, and The Hunger Games series and loved them all. I’ll have to look into some of the others that you mentioned.

  5. I feel like if I had to guess your top ten, I would have NAILED IT with most of these. I know you!!!!!!!!!!

  6. John Green!!!! <333

  7. Great list! With almost two years under my belt, I, like you, had a tough time time narrowing it down, but you did really well! Great list!

  8. This looks like a great list. I haven’t read any of these authors. I don’t know how that happened! I am copying them all down to add to my “must read” book lists. One author I have really enjoyed is Curtis D. Carney. He wrote my favorite book “Kincaid and the Legal Massacre.”This a fiction novel a wildlife biologist is sent to the Bering Sea on the Pribilof Islands where he is engaged in a struggle to restrain the massacring of Northern fur seals while trying to rescue the the native Inuit wives from rogue kidnappers. http://www.insightpressbooks.com/
