I don’t even remember how I came across Cleopatra Ascending, but I know how pumped I was to find another YA book inspired by Egyptian culture! I actually had no idea this is book 2 in a series, so I’m almost happy Cleopatra Ascending comes out in January so I have time to read the first book, Shadow’s Edge
